In most cases in translation practice there is a need for notarization of the translated document, as an official confirmation of the correctness and accuracy of the translation. In accordance with Article 79 of the Law of Ukraine “On Notaries”, a translation is considered notarized when the notary checks the translator’s qualification and certifies the authenticity of his\/her signature.<\/p>\n

<\/span>A notarized translation can be required for:<\/span><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″]
    \n
  • issuance of a residence permit (temporary or permanent),<\/li>\n
  • citizenship of Ukraine;<\/li>\n
  • registration or dissolution of marriage;<\/li>\n
  • submission of documents to government bodies;<\/li>\n
  • issuance of visas at the embassies of other countries;<\/li>\n
  • receiving heritage by a non-resident of Ukraine;<\/li>\n
